Hi, my name is Brutus and I am a White American Bulldog. I am 1 - 1 1/2 years old and weigh 65lbs. I am as sweet and can be and really cute and handsome, just ask my Foster Mom, she tells me that all the time :))

I was in rather rough shape when I got to her home in West Bloomfield :( Some nasty people used me as a bait dog to teach other dogs to fight, it was not fun let me tell you that. But now I am all fixed up and look quite good, regular good food and plenty of fresh water, plus a bath, does wonders for a lad's spirits.

I am crate trained and would not even think of doing my business in the house, I go out in the back yard, do my business and then play with my friends. I am good with all dogs and do not pay any attention to the cats.

I am neutered, microchipped, and have all my shots. I am heartworm positive and am receiving Doxy with my breakfast and dinner. I am so busy inhaling my food that I don't even notice the green pill mixed in :) All cost associated with my treatment is covered by the rescue.

I will be at the Pet Adoption event that my Foster Mom holds every Saturday at PetSmart 7260 Orchard Lake Road West Bloomfield. I am there from Noon to 3pm looking for my forever home, so please stop by to say "HELLO" and you will see what a grand lad I am.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
