Hi! My name is Pumpkin Spice and I just turned 5 months old. My foster parents saved me and my sister several months ago from a property that wanted us gone by whatever means. I was what they call "feral" and I have come a long way but I am still very shy. Once I trust you I do open up and enjoy being held and spoken softly to. I enjoy the company of other felines, dogs scare me though so I would prefer not to be around them. My sister has been adopted and I am currently bunking with two younger kittens. I am actually the smallest even though I am over a month older than them. The vet has checked me out and hasn't found anything wrong, so I just am slow to grow and may stay small my whole life. I've had some interest here and there but everyone seems to move on to a more outgoing kitten :( Please, won't someone give me a chance? I just need time to feel safe and secure.

HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.​
