Update: It turns out that Arya's a bit of a couch potato! She's willing to play with her buddy Sansa outside for a bit, but after a few minutes she just flops on the grass and naps in the sun. Inside, the doggie bed is her favorite place. From what we've seen, she doesn't jump on people, doesn't really bark much,  and seems pretty low-maintenance. The only thing she's chewed on are the doggie toys and rawhide bones. Arya is super duper chill and sweet. She'd make a great new addition to any family, especially one looking for a lower to moderate energy pup.

Arya is a 3 month old mountain curr/lab mix. She traveled all the way from Kentucky with her buddy Sansa in search of her forever home. Arya is a friendly girl who likes to play, but she also mellows out very well. She enjoys her naps and snuggles for sure, and so far has even slept quietly through the night! She is now working hard on crate and potty training. Good with kids, dogs, and cats.   

HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.​
