UPDATE: Shayla is a very active little girl who will require someone who is active such as a daily walker, hiker or has another dog for her to play with. if she does not get to burn her energy she will chew things! she is calm in the home as long as she gets to release some of her energy, and she is very loving, sweet, and funny. she will be a great addition to any active home. 

Shayla is a young mom 1.5 to 2yrs old, way too young to have babies! it is obvious she was kept outside as she had big scabs on the tips of her ears from fly bites and the pups did too. She is safe and happy now though as she is learning to go outside and she loves people and belly rubs, is very playful and energetic. . What a sweet little girl and so small to have been kept outside with her babies. she is looking for someone who will love her and treat her like a part of the family not kept outside in a cage. she has so much love to give.  

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
