Description:
Pixi is a petite, sweet young dog, submissive and enjoys hanging with her doggy friends. She is a shy dog, she prefers her people to move slowly towards her. Once she warms up her humans can look forward to a good morning snuggle. She came to the rescue with her 6 puppies, they are all in their permanent homes but she is still looking for a new home. Pixi is house broken and has no accidents if she is let out regularly. She also use pads if they are placed by the door. Pixi was probably someone's pet in the past but at some point she got lost and lived as a stray for some time. She still needs some training so we recommend crating her when she is left alone at home. Pixi is still a puppy at heart and nothing is safe if it smells good and if she can reach it. She shares home with several other dogs and she gets along with them all. She likes to share beds with small female dogs and we often find them snuggling up by the warm air vents. She also likes cats. Pixi needs a securely fenced yard to keep her safe. She keeps close to her human and the other dogs in the yard but she has a desire to explore the world. This girl loves long and short walks where she can find out whats going on in the neighborhood. Pixi does not like bad weather so on those cold and rainy days she makes her potty breaks short !
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
