Description:
Tommy and Kenny are brothers, nine-year-old black and white with tan marks, smaller Rat Terriers.  Kenny and Tommy’s elderly dad died, leaving them orphans. They lived for quite a while in the basement of their dad’s home, and a relative reached out to ask for someone to rescue them.

They would do best in a calm home, at 8 years they are not puppies, but they love walks, and love their treats! No cats! They are thin naturally, the foster keeps their bowls filled, and they eat as they want. They are low maintenance, and very sweet. Please give them a home.  Tommy is the smallest at 8 lbs., and is a lover, just wants to sit on your lap and cuddle. Kenny is also affectionate, but enjoys exploring, but will jump and give you kisses. Don’t let their age fool you, they are healthy, and have many many years of companionship ahead.

Kenny and Tommy are healthy, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, and neutered, and crate trained, though they are rarely crated. They sleep, and are left in a bedroom while the foster goes to work, and have had no accidents as long as it is not more than nine hours.   They have been around other small dogs, having spent time in boarding, and hanging with the other small older dogs. They have done well with kids, and love the foster’s eleven-year-old boy.  They may not do well with birds, as Kenny caught one day, and wanted to eat it.

They are bonded, and should be adopted together. They keep an eye on each other, and always knows when one is out of sight.  Their adoption fee is sponsored.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
