Chief is a mixed breed and on the small side at about 15 pounds.   His favorite person is whoever is in the room petting him, and his tail perks up on walks when he sees a stranger. He's great on walks, at parties, and potty trained. He's happy to play and walk all day or lay beside you on a lazy day in.  He is a friendly guy that likes other dogs and cats, and chew toys.  He has a moderate energy level so an active family that can channel his energy would be great.  He has the 'terrier' personality.  It was reported that he also does not like to share his food or treats.  He did great with some of the neighbor kids and we haven't seen anything aggressive about him. We have him listed as a terrier mix, but he could have some pug and chihuahua in him. He's unique, adorable, and sweet.

Chief is UTD on vaccines and is microchipped.  The photo shows he has "Cherry Eye" which will be corrected before adoption.   

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
