Description:
Bruno is a young dog who spent 9 months in a local animal shelter. After 4 months in his foster home, he has become a happy, playful, energetic dog.  Bruno is crate trained and potty trained. He knows a few basic commands and he loves to play fetch.  He is the best retriever but you better use two tennis balls to keep up with him. Bruno will not drop the ball unless he sees you preparing to throw another ball.
 
Bruno would benefit from further obedience training as he can get jumpy during games of fetch and will pull on a leash.  He is eager to please and motivated by both treats and toys.  Bruno loves to play with all his foster siblings. They too are active players.  Matching Bruno with another active dog is best. He is still learning doggy manners with dogs who do not want to play for long periods of time. 
 
If you can keep up with Bruno, then he could be the dog for you.

 

 

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
