Update: Andy is a barker! he will not do well in an Apartment, or Condo's, he does take a bit to warm up to people, he will growl and bark at new people, he will take a patient person to continue working with him on introducing him to new people.  Andy is VERY ACTIVE a few times a day and unless you are a daily walker Andy should have a fenced yard for his happiness. 

Andy is a ball of fun and very comical at times, he loves to play with his humans and toys. Also, I need to mention Andy is like a flying squirrel he runs and leaps on you whether you are sitting down or standing up! 

Andy is a 2yr. old Shih Tzu mix. Andy, is a sweet little guy with playful energy, he does like other dogs that like to play but he needs a slow proper introduction and a playful submissive dog would be the best match for Andy. Andy does love to be by his human as well, and loves attention and play from you as well, he is working on house training and doing well, he loves toys and something to chew on as he is still young.






Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have a collar with tags should they get lost.
