Description:
Chase is an 83 lbs Shepard mix, so just a little over weight but healthy. Although we have only had him with us for a few days, he is such a sweet boy! He is not high energy, although he is just starting to play. He LOVES everyone, if he walks past you, he wants you to pet him, and don’t even think about stopping. If you do he will nudge your hand or squeeze under your arm :) He is pretty quiet and so far does not bark at things. He also has a very easy going temperament and puts up with our dog bugging him, and he can really bug him at time. He gets along with other dogs, and does not mind our cat. He knows Sit and Lay-down. He does go on furniture, and spends most of his time lying on the couch, or on the floor in whatever room you are in, that is if he is not sitting right next to you trying to get a head scratch or belly rub. He has free roam of the house and does not get into anything, even though he can easily reach the table. He did well in a crate, however he has free roam at night and just sleeps on the couch. He is very good in the car, just sits there and looks out the window as you drive. Goes in and out very well. Pulls a bit when walking and with his size and strength, may need a gentle leader. So far is has been awesome! Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
