Cleo is the sweetest most loving girl. She likes everyone. She is a 9 year old 10lb Shih Tzu that came to the rescue in rough shape.  She had  glaucoma and needed both eyes removed. She also had ear infections which have left her with some loss of hearing, so she has trouble locating sound. Although she does respond to kissing sounds and learns the sound of her persons voice. She enjoys being petted, sitting on a soft lap and getting her belly scratched. She also likes to play with people and chase their hands. She likes to be near her person at all times. Cleo learns her surroudings very slowly so needs a patient person. She is house-trained and will go outside when taken out. Cleo eats wet food. Due to Cleo's special needs she would do better with someone who is home most of the time. Cleo gets along well with other friendly dogs her size. Cleo is blind and needs someone who can spend a good deal of time with her. This sweet little doll is looking for a special person to take care of her, and that she can love on.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implan.ted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
