Meet Malcolm (the brown one) and Maisey (the brown and white one). 
Malcolm and Maisey are sibling Boxer mixes and they turned six months old just last week. Each of them weighs about 45 pounds and they have had their first series of shots.

Our goal is to place Malcolm and Maisey into the same home and we will be accepting applications to adopt them as a pair starting today. If they aren’t adopted together by August 5th, we will open up applications for individual adoption.

Malcolm and Maisey had a rough start in life. They were born into a home that was full of dogs in inner city Columbus. One of the other dogs was apparently going after them and they have the scars on their legs to prove it. Fortunately, Happy Days Rescue was able to pull them out of this neglectful and dangerous situation.

Malcom and Maisey are very sweet and they look out for each other. Or I should say that Maisey looks to Malcolm for protection and Malcolm looks after her very thoughtfully. On our walks, Malcolm turns around to check on Maisey and he walks back to her every 20-40 steps and licks her face to let her know she’s safe. They are both very easy to manage and easy to walk on leashes.

To encourage adopting them together, Mikey & Me will pay for one of the two adoption fees.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
