et us introduce you to Cookie a 7 - 8 year old Welsh Corgi Cardigan female. She came to the rescue in rough shape after a stint as a stray dog living on the streets. We have noticed that she loves to spend her days walking around in the yard so a new home with a secure fence would be a good fit for her. Cookie have a hearty appetite and need to watch her diet not to put on weight.
Cookie is good with other dogs, she lives with other male and female dogs in her foster home. She tends to shy away from strangers and the owner needs to have patience so she feels comfortable with her new family. Cookie is housebroken and well behaved in the house, we allow her free roam when she is alone at home.
Cookie is UTD on her vaccines, she had a dental cleaning, and a surgery to correct a Cherry eye so she is ready for her new home. Older children only because she scares easily in new situations.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
