Meet Valentine! A spunky, energetic, 5 year old  Whippet Mix,
originally from South Carolina.  This girl loves to play fetch but
doesn't always share the ball with others.  She loves toys of all
kinds and can destroy the squeaker in a stuffed toy faster than any
dog.  Valentine loves walks but she could use a little work on leaving
the squirrels alone.

She also loves all people, big, little, tall or small.  She wants to
be with her people all the time.  Her love of humans can get her into
trouble when they leave so crating her is a must when she is alone.
She even comes with her own special crate.

Once you return, she will greet you with Tigger like bounces to show
her appreciation and affection for you.  She has been this excited to
see me when I have returned upstairs from doing laundry after 15
minutes of leaving her.

Valentine's high energy can be annoying to low energy dogs so please
pick her playmates appropriately. She does best with larger male dogs.
She does greet all dogs with proper dog etiquette when leashed.

Valentine does settle down nicely and puts herself to bed, in your bed
around 10 PM nightly. She will stay in your bed until morning but if
you need to make a trip to the bathroom at night.  She will come too.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
