Description:
Meet Buzbee!  Buzbee is a joyful Beagle boy approximately 2 yrs. old and 24 pounds.  He was rescued from a shelter in Ohio and came to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue with a lower canine snaggle tooth and limp in his front paw.  Both are on his left side and after being examined by the vet, it is guessed that he was hit by something, either or a car or something else that caused both injuries.  He will need his canine tooth removed as it's interfering with his ability to bite normally and he has difficulty eating some things.  He will also need to be examined by a specialist for his arm injury which has healed incorrectly.  Most likely he's facing surgery for both.

Buzbee is a joyful little guy.  He gets along well with his 2 foster siblings, one male and one female and also everyone in the house (both men and women).  We have not seen him interact with children or cats. He's super sweet and very gentle.  He's scheduled to be neutered on November 7th which should help with the marking he's been doing in his foster home.

We are working on his leash skills and his manners.  He likes to be the center of attention and if we are playing with or petting one of the other dogs, he tries to insert himself. With that said, he's very smart.  He learned the electric fence is one day and he is very eager to please.

We feel there has been some abuse in his past as he can be very skittish if he's reprimanded verbally.  He will drop and cower and tremble if you raise your voice to correct him.

Buzbee will be available for adoption once he's neutered and his arm and tooth are corrected and healed.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
