Meet Tux, he is at the Mikey & Me kennels, being fostered for Happy Days Rescue.

Tux is a shorter standing Shepherd Mix, he’s approximately 3 years old, and he weighs 63 pounds. He is a very nice dog and looks forward to his time interacting with humans. Tux has a very nice disposition and he sits and wiggles when I approach his kennel, in lieu of barking.

Tux has had some shots and I will be making a Vet appointment for a physical exam, heart worm test, booster shots, microchip placement, and for him to be neutered.

Tux didn’t have much interest in playing with our Golden Lab Mix this evening and I get the feeling he would rather spend time with his people instead. He walks very nicely on leash and he doesn’t pull much.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
