Description:
Meet Ellie, one of two new arrivals at the Mikey & Me kennels, being fostered for Happy Days Rescue.
Ellis is a beautiful, black Shepherd Mix and she only weighs about 55 pounds. I have her on an enhanced diet because she looks too thin, with her ribs clearly visible upon arrival. Ellie is estimated to be about two years old and she has a very nice personality when meeting new people.
Ellie has had some shots but I will be making an appt. for a physical exam, heart worm test, booster shots, microchip placement, and to have her spayed. (Most Vet appointments are booking out by several weeks right now).
Ellie is a strong dog and she has a deep voice but she walks nicely on a leash when she’s out by herself. We haven’t given her play time with other dogs yet but we have introduced her to another male Shepherd Mix, without incident.
If you are interested in adopting Ellie, please submit an adoption application at Happydaysdogandcatrescue.org. (Doing this won’t obligate you in any way but it does allow Happy Days Rescue to complete the background check which is a requirement for adoption). Once your application is approved, I will invite those applicants that seem like the best fit for Ellie to come out and meet her.
Please share this post with your friends and family so we can find Ellie’s new family. She is a sweet girl and she deserves to be in a loving and familiar home environment. I will post additional photos of Ellie once they become available.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.
Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
