Meet Ricky, one of our newest residents at the Mikey & Me kennels for Happy Days Rescue.

Ricky is a Shepherd/Beagle Mix(?), he’s about a year and a half old, and he weighs about 40 pounds. He has a cottony soft coat and he is a very handsome little boy. As you can see below, he has beautiful, mixed color eyes. 

Ricky loves people and he watches patiently until it’s his turn to receive our attention. He stands right up to hug and quickly attaches himself to the lucky volunteer. He arrived alongside another, female dog about his size and they get along very nicely. He is non reactive to other dogs walking by his kennel.

Ricky has had some shots and he has an appt. on 12/22 for a wellness exam, heart worm test, booster shots, microchip placement, and to be neutered.

We had a Girl Scout Troop visit us on Friday and Ricky (aka Nibbles) couldn’t get to each of the girls fast enough. He will make a wonderful family or companion dog as he has a very nice personality.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
