The happiest boy you’ll ever meet!

Goose is a delightful three year old terrier mix, who is endlessly happy and is always wagging his tail even though he was pulled from a high-kill shelter. He is housetrained, knows the commands sit and down, and sleeps through the night in his kennel, so the basics are taken care of! He gets very excited for love and affection, and will jump into your lap and give you kisses all day if you let him, so he just needs to learn some boundaries there. He takes direction and cues very well for this already though. He is eager to learn and please his humans, and will look at you with his goofy grin waiting for instructions.

So far, Goose has had zero reaction while on walks to other dogs barking at him, rabbits hopping around, or neighborhood outdoor cats he has seen. He has met the foster’s resident dogs (a westie and pit mix) on walks and his only reaction was pure joy. He likes to play with toys on his own or with you. He is very curious and likes to explore and sniff nature, so he would be an excellent adventure buddy!

Like a typical terrier, Goose is active and energetic, and would enjoy a home where he will receive walks, exercise and training to stimulate him. Don’t like the name Goose? No problem! He was just given that name, and doesn’t know it yet.

Last, but not least, look at those ears, what more could you ask for?

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
