Elvira is a 7 month old puppy that is eager to learn once you win her trust. She is 50 pounds and still growing so will need someone that will work with her on leash manners so that she does not knock anyone over. She has learned not to jump up on people for attention. She would thrive best in a family with a large yard and another dog or with someone that will create a plan to work not only her body (walking / exercise) but also her brain. She is eager to bond with other dogs and people. 

She is crate trained and has been taught to go to your crate when she comes in from outside so that she calms down a bit after running around crazy outside.  

She is cat, dog and kid friendly. 

She would love to live with another dog however so gets super active when playing with other dogs. Her foster brother and he will wrestle together. When she is not playing she loves to bring you her chew toy and curl up and cuddle with you. 

She has learned which cats in her household are “spicy/hissy” and she will avoid them.

She has lived with kids before and knows to be gentle with them when she is not playing with another dog. 

She is microchipped, has had shots, and has her spay appointment scheduled.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
