Hello, my name is Autumn ! I am an 11 month old Beagle girl. Autumn is a bit taller than some Beagles but weighs only 20 lbs. This girl is white with beautiful brown markings and just look at her pretty green eyes ! Her foster family loves her and thinks she is a good girl, housebroken, and gets along well with the other dogs in the home. The other male and female dogs in the pack range from 6 lbs to 45 lbs so it makes quite a mixed pack.
Autumn is shy and insecure, and does not display any aggressive behaviors at all. A family with respectful children would be a plus. She does cower when petted but does warm up quickly. Autumn has learnt not to beg at the table for food but when fed she has a hearty appetite like most Beagles. She is still working on not jumping on people, but let's face it no one is perfect. With free roam in the home she is on the laid-back side and spends time launching on the couch between playtimes.
We are looking for a home where someone is home most of the time. Autumn does not like to be crated, working on it but she will bay and howl when confined. Apartment living is not for this girl. A home with a fenced yard will be required. Autumn will make a great family dog.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
