Description:
Hi I'm Josephine!  I came with my newborn kittens to a rural shelter and I did my very best to keep them safe. I was scared and there were loud dogs and some of my babies died. I came to Happy Days with my surviving baby and an orphan I adopted in the shelter. My foster mama found out I don't have milk, so she has been bottle feeding my babies. My foster mom brought home an orphan litter and I insisted these are my babies too. I am a very  young and inexperienced mama and I do my best to protect and care for all of my babies.

Foster mom's note: Jo is a very sweet girl who seeks attention and affection. Right now she is wholly focused on her babies. She is tremendously protective and goes berserk at other animals. I suspect this is normal maternal protective instinct and will ease over time.  She has no issues with unfamiliar people or children except we do note that she is extremely nervous in a kennel/veterinary setting. She would really benefit from a home that can give her a sense of security.  I believe that with the right home, Jo will be a devoted and loving companion for life.

Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
