Description:
We are still learning more about sweet Dipsy every day but, so far, he is an adorable, fun and playful little guy who absolutely LOVES to cuddle! So far, he is the biggest boy of the litter and just loves interacting and playing with other dogs and people. He is enthusiastic about all kinds of adventures but he also seems to know when enough is enough. Recently, Dipsy had a ton of fun playing with a local 4-year-old neighbor boy so he will probably do very well in a home with kids (as long as the adults understand how to keep interactions fun and safe for everyone). A fence is not required to adopt this sweety IF you have a solid plan in mind to keep this boy active and busy. (As a possible boxer mix, expect some higher energy levels and a need for several walks/runs per day to keep him active, healthy and mentally stimulated.) Dipsy loves running with other dogs and wrestling and playing chase and ‘keep away’. Having another dog buddy to live and play with could be perfect for this little boy- just as long as he also gets a whole lot of 'people time' in, too. Since he is likely to be a medium-sized boy when grown, we suggest that families who are interested in Dipsy already have prior experience or a solid training plan in mind to help him to be the best behaved guy he can be. This little boy may be a bit more ‘happy enthusiasm’ then ‘super smart’ but he sure brings with a heart of gold that he’s all ready to share with his new family. With that beautiful, soft brindle coat and those big brown eyes he is just about as adorable as they come- just a cute, goofy little boy who’s looking for his perfect family. HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.
