Description:
Bailey is a two year old Australian Shepherd/Golden/Lab mix. She was thought to be a Great Pyrenees, but has no double dew claws, and also has the webbed paws of a Lab/Golden.
She is around 70 pounds, and was found wandering on Bailey Road, so that is how she got her name.
Bailey is housebroken, and knows sit, can ride in car in a harness, and is very good for the vet. Bailey came to us with Lyme Disease and is now ending her treatment and available for adoption.
Bailey needs a fully physically fenced in yard (she can dart outside to follow you) of at least five feet tall. Bailey is a sweet dog, and appears to like other dogs. No electronic fences. She is respectful with cats, but we are unsure if she will do well with indoor cats. Bailey needs a good amount of activity to keep her happy and will need a brush-up on obedience training.
As we have no information on her past, no children under twelve. Previous dog experience required, she is large and playful, and can jump up. She appears to be good with other dogs.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
