Hello, my name is Coco and I am an active 1 1/2 yr old brown Chihuahua mix. I am shy and will not approach the humans I don't know and trust but once I get to know my humans I'm all in. Love to be petted and to cuddle, just give me a couple of days to warm up. Coco is an active dog who enjoys play time in the yard to burn off energy. A few longer walks would be cool. My foster mom calls me her little turd when I upset the trash can in the kitchen. I sometimes walk on tables where the humans left plates, cups and glasses in search of leftovers, needless to say mom dont like that either especially since I may upset cups or glasses. Mom does not understand how it was to be a lonely, hungry dog all alone on the streets. Well I may have to work on some of my behaviors but I like to learn and I have learnt to be housebroken so given a little time and patience I will become the perfect little house dog.

 

Coco shares her foster home with 4 other dogs male and female  of different age and size. However Coco is guarding food and toys so she may do better as the only dog in her permanent home. Coco sleeps in a wire crate at night, she usually sleeps through the night but it can take her a few minutes to settle down. During the day she likes to nap in a plastic travel crate with the door open, it is her "safe place". Since she is new to our home and we crate her when she is alone at home.
