Description:

Hi everyone, my name is Stella I’m approximately 2 years old and everyone I meet thinks I’m a petite boxer mix. I weigh around 38lbs but I’m trying to gain a few pounds! Even once I fill out, people say I’m the perfect size! I really like meeting new people and playing with hoomans. I like getting pets, sitting on my fosters parents feet and hanging out under my foster moms desk while she works. GOOD NEWS - I also like playing by myself. One of my favorite morning activities is to toss my stuffies around and chase after them (see video). I keep myself busy for hours doing that. I’m pretty good on a leash but I’m also pretty curious about the kids at the bus stop, neighborhood cats and other doggies out on their morning walks. I don’t love being in my crate but I’m okay in there with some toys and treats if you need to leave for a few hours. I haven’t officially met my foster doggie brother and sister yet but I enjoy seeing them around the house and I even gave my brother a few kisses on the nose this morning through the baby gate. I can’t wait until I get to actually play with him! I’ve met a few other dogs and I’ve done really well! I haven’t met any tiny hoomans yet but I think they would be alright. I am learning quickly how to keep “four (paws) on the floor”. The animal control that I was at described me as potty polite and it’s true… I’m pretty fantastic about holding it until I get to go outside. I have a mild case heartworms but I have already started treatment for it then I will be completely healthy and ready for my forever home. I’m allowed to meet potential adopters in the meantime. Will you come visit me and see if I could be the perfect fit for your family? I am currently in Rochester Hills, MI.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
