Meet Baxter, our handsome, one year old yellow Shepherd mix. Baxter is being fostered at the Mikey & Me kennels in Chelsea for Happy Days Rescue.

Baxter has a beautiful soft coat, he weighs about 45 pounds, and he very much enjoys meeting new people. Baxter is housebroken, he doesn’t bark much, he’s calm and well-behaved, and he enjoys meeting other dogs. Baxter is easy to walk and he doesn’t pull on his leash.

Baxter has had his initial vaccinations and he will have a heart worm test and physical exam at the end of this week. Baxter will be microchipped for his safety and he will be neutered on December 12th. He will be ready to meet his new family and forever home shortly thereafter.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
