Della is a tall and slim senior hound mix, she actually still feels and acts like a young dog. Della has a beautiful multicolored coat. She gets along very well with other dogs and enjoys playing in the yard in her foster home with a other dogs. She will do best in a home with a fenced yard and someone that enjoys long walks or other outdoors activities. Della is 25 lbs but her body build makes her look bigger than her weight. Della is comfortable in a crate (42in) where she sleeps through the night on her soft bed. The crate is her refuge during the day too, the door is always open for her to walk in for a nap. The foster home can be a noisy place at times since she shares with 6 other dogs of all ages and sizes. Della has a friendly, loving demeanor but to get attention she sometimes jumps up for hugs and may knock small children over. Della is very food motivated which makes training easier, old dogs can definitely learn new tricks! Della is looking for a forever home to spend the rest of her days in. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
