Louie is a Shih Tzu, weighing about 16 pounds. He is a sweet little lap dog that likes to be near people no matter where they are.  A perfect adopter for Louie would be someone who is retired or home often. He likes to be around people.

Louie was rescued by someone when he was 3 years old because his previous owner was going into a nursing home. Louie is now 9 years old. The family that has had him for the past 6 years love him dearly, but want what is best for Louie. They are always on the go which is causing Louie anxiety and sadness.

Louie is perfectly house trained and has never had an accident in the house. He is also up-to-date on his vaccinations and neutered. He travels well in a car; he just lies down and sleeps. Louie has not lived with any other dogs so we are not sure how he is with them.

Louie really is a wonderful loving dog!!!

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for $19.99 fee to change information.    Dogs and Cat still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
