Hello, my name is Docia. I also go by Dasha. My foster mom tells me it means "God's gift", and that it suits me well. I am sweet as they come and energetic at my young age, but I do settle down nicely when it is time. I love all people and enjoy the company of other dogs. Currently I live with a miniature greyhound and a pitbull, and we all get along famously. If you are looking for a dog that is house-trained and crate trained, that would be me! I enjoy going for car rides, and will settle down in the back until we get to where we are going. Some of my favorite things include playing with my toys, chewing on nylabones, going after a ball or frisbee in the backyard, and taking long walks. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you, I love to cuddle, especially at night before bed! I am not food or toy aggressive, and I am fed in my crate which I happily go running into when my foster mom says "time to eat". I already know some tricks; sit, shake, down, and my foster mom has been helping me to not jump up on people when I meet them. I just get so excited when I see them. My foster mom is not sure why my first family gave me up, but I am hoping to someday have a "forever home" of my own!

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for $19.99 fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
