UPDATE:  Romeo is the "toy hog" of the room.  As soon as the feather on a string comes, out he is all over it.  Running, jumping, chasing like crazy.  We have a little battery powered moving cockroach toy and when that comes he grabs it with his mouth and bites and growls at it.  But rest assured he never becomes mean.  If you start petting him, this little boy will immediately start a loud purr and change to cuddle mode .  

Romeo was recently found in Oak Park, but is now ready to settle down with a loving family. He is an absolute cuddle-bug! Romeo is very sweet and loving, and would enjoy nothing more than snuggling up in a warm lap after a long day of play.  ​He has boundless kitten energy and loves chasing toys, pouncing on feather wands, and exploring every nook and cranny. Prepare for endless entertainment!

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee.  Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
