Brodee is a handsome, friendly guy that absolutely loves to cuddle. He does well with other dogs (with proper intro), loved his foster mom's grandchildren when they came to stay (ages 6,9 &10), and does good with the cats too. He loves to play with his foster siblings and normally calms down nicely when inside. He walks well on leash with a harness on. He’s house trained and crate trained. He goes right in when I give him his stuffed frozen bone or Kong.  Brodee does get a little crazy when he hears a the vacuum, weed wacker or lawn mower.  He barks and will attempt to bite at the object, so his foster mom gives him a yummy bone in his crate to occupy his mind while she mows.

Brodee is a sweetheart and is looking for someone to love him as much as he will love you. He would do fine with a friend of any size his foster mom has dogs as small as 7 lbs. He would benefit from training with his new owner (not that he needs it) but to learn obedience and to bond. He’s currently 65 lbs and could stand to lose a little, he will walk in front of you and not move just so you’re sure you know he’s there. This guy is a great boy looking for a great home.

Brodee is UTD on vaccines, microchipped and neutered.

If you have questions please email his foster mom at

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
