Buttercup is a super sweet and calm dog. She loves to cuddle and thinks she is a lapdog, despite her size. She loves toys and is super friendly to everyone she meets. She hardly barks and is a good listener. She does not bark at the door, but will occasionally bark at other dogs and trains. She will need some more training but has mastered Sit, Wait, and Shake. She's not food aggressive and likes to graze. She likes treats, but toys are a better motivator with training for her. She's great with kids, dogs, and even cats! She loves greeting the neighborhood kids who are all under 5, and is really gentle when she sees that children are small. If you play rough with her, she will get extremely excited and jump and pounce around. She really likes attention and will push other dogs out of the way to get petted, and will nudge you to keep petting her if you stop. She prefers the ground over furniture and will usually sleep on the ground next to you. Overall she is a massive sweetheart that would do good in a family that is willing to give her lots of love and affection.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
